Production of medical masks

Nonwoven fabric like SMS & ndash; three-layer non-woven fabric. Unlike spunbond, SMS contains an additional inner meltblown layer. The layers, respectively, are arranged in the following sequence: S (spandbond) & ndash; M (meltblown) & ndash; S (spandbond). The outside spandbond repels moisture, and the waterproof meltblown, which increases the strength of the SMS material, acts as a reliable antibacterial shield. Despite its multi-layered structure, the CMC material has important qualities such as lightness, softness and strength.

Unlike SPUNBOND materials, thanks to the meltblown layers, SMS materials have some properties that are not inherent in spunbond.
